I can’t believe she is 16.
It feels like just last week that my mom and sister showed up on my doorstep, half-way around the world, just in time to take me to the hospital to have Ashton. And now she is 16. Now there is driving and dating. And only 2 more years of high school. Craziness.
I am a pretty lucky mom to have her as a daughter. She is so smart, funny and creative. I’m also pretty lucky to have her as a friend. I love that this last year of very hard stuff has allowed us to become so much closer.
I am really excited to see where she takes herself in life, I only wish I could slow it down a little 🙂
I love you Ashton, and Happy 16th Birthday!

They had tons of super fun clothes and props…I LOVED all of the boots and the old luggage they brought with them.
They had really fun ideas for poses.
We had fun hiking all over Red Rock for four hours…

And this, my friends, is Gimpy, the wild jack…ummm….donkey. He got me back for making fun of his front leg. He snuck up behind me and scared me. I ended up with a fat lip for a week. He taught me 😉
